# How-to: Upgrading Your Plan

## Overview

Upgrading your plan is simple: you only pay the difference for the remaining months of your current subscription — no need to wait until renewal.

## Example

Say your subscription runs from January to December, and you decide to upgrade in September. You'd only pay the price difference for the **remaining 4 months** — September, October, November, and December.
