# Tip: Increasing Candidate Conversion Rate

## Overview

These tips help put candidates at ease and reduce uncertainty before they face a one-way video interview — leading to a higher completion rate.

## Before anything: set expectations

Make sure candidates know, ahead of time:

* How many questions the interview has
* How long it will take to answer them all
* How much time (days/hours) they have to complete the interview

This information should show up in tips 1, 2, and/or 3 below.
