# A2P SMS Registration

## Overview

This is only needed if you plan to send SMS to **US phone numbers**.

## Send SMS notifications to US phone numbers

In order to send candidate notifications to US phone numbers, you must register your business with the US carriers. This is a two-step process: first, you submit information about your business, and second, you create your SMS campaign.

### Step 1: Submit your business information

First, you need to submit information about your business to the US carriers so that they can verify your account. We've prepared a form to help you with this by clicking the "Submit your business information" button.

Once you submit your information, it usually takes **1-2 weeks** to be verified, after which you can complete Step 2.

### Step 2: Submit SMS content for approval

Once Step 1 has been completed and your business is verified, you'll be able to come back to this same **A2P SMS Registration** section to submit your SMS content for approval.
